How to measure your headlight rake correctly
To insure the headlight is plumb to the ground,
measure the angle of the face to which the headlight is mounted.
Following these instructions will get you close enough to insure your bezel is straight as it was intended to look

Customers often ask which angled bezel they need.
They may say they have a 26" wheel with a 10° neck kit and 8° built-in to the trees.
With these dimensions there's no way we can tell what angle the headlight will be due to variations in trees,
neck kits and tire aspect of different manufacturers.

Step 1: Place the bike on flat, level ground

Step 2: Remove the headlight mounting ring from fairing or nacelle

Step 3: Stand the bike up right and pointing forward

Step 4: Get a protractor like this from the hardware store

Step 5: Get a carpenters square like this

Step 6: Remove the ruler and the keeper from the square

Step 7: With the headlight mounting ring off of the front end, place the protractor
blade on the face where the headlight is mounted

Step 8: Make sure the protractor is vertical when laid against the headlight seat. This is indicated by the air bubble between the two lines.

Step 9: Insert the protractor into the carpenter square slot and rotate protractor until air bubble is between the two lines on the level

Step 10: Read the angle right off the protractor, the closest bezel in this instance is an 8°
